MORNINGS DURING LOCKDOWN

Ok, as I said many times before. If we have a chance to be staying at home during those difficult times, we can consider ourselves lucky and be extremely grateful. However, staying home can be a bit tricky specially if you are used to be around a lot, having a busy schedule, being an extrovert even. It was all fun and games and new for a couple of weeks, but those weeks turned into months. So it is completely natural to start feeling a bit caged, wondering when all this is going to turn around.

To me the most important part of the days are mornings. Especially now I try to do most out of my mornings. Cup of coffee and a few pages of a good book are a must before I make breakfast and take a short walk outside. We are fortunate here in Slovenia that we are able to still be outside (keeping a distance from other of course). This is keeping me sane in a way. I then always plan my day, things I want to do, things I have to do I usually plan a day ahead or a week ahead. I tend to keep myself busy, also I’m a morning person and I can do a lot before lunch time and not as half much in the afternoon. I also find myself love making breakfast. I try different recipes and experiment a bit with different food. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and if I usually skip one if I have things to do in the mornings, I love having one when I’m free at home or have nothing till later. What is left of my mornings I usually spend with a computer or with a camera in my hand working, editing photos, writing posts, planning shootings and right now, thinking about a new page for my blog where I would also show my work as a content creator. Never a dull moment here haha and I don’t know if its just me but somehow days are passing by real fast lately.

Vem, da sem to rekla že velikokrat, ampak če imamo srečo, da smo trenutno lahko doma smo lahko res hvaležni. Toda, biti samo doma je lahko tudi precej težko, oziroma za marsikoga dolgočasno in utesnjeno. Zlasti za tiste, ki so navajeni biti vseskozi nekje, biti v družbi, imeti popolnoma zapolnjen urnik. Sprva, prve tedne je bilo vse “zabavno”, novo, zanimivo in nepoznano, naenkrat je bilo veliko prostega časa, kljub temu, da ga je bilo treba pokoristiti doma. Zdaj pa so se ti tedni razvlekli v skoraj da ne mesece in popolnoma normalno je, da smo se morda začeli počutiti ujete, utesnjene in negotove, kaj se bo zgodilo v prihodnosti.

Zame so najpomembnejši deli dneva ravno jutra. Še posebej zdaj skušam iz juter potegniti kar se da največ. Dobra kava in par strani knjige so postali že stalnica predno se lotim priprave zajtrka in se tako poženem v nov dan. Zajtrk, potem pa sprehod ob morju. V Sloveniji smo lahko zaenkrat res veseli, da se še vedno lahko gibamo zunaj, seveda z distanco. Sprehodi zunaj me nekako držijo v ravnovesju, da se ne počutim ujete. Po sprehodu vedno planiram preostanek dneva, planiram stvari, ki bi jih rada naredila, tiste, ki sem jih mogoče prejšnji dan pozabila zapisati. Stvari, ki morajo biti narejene vedno planiram vsaj en dan vnaprej, če ne celo teden. Skušam se zaposliti, in glede na to, da sem jutranja oseba največ stvari naredim ravno do opoldneva. Popoldne mi vedno uspe narediti le polovico tistega, kar naredim zjutraj. Odkrila sem novo ljubezen do priprave zajtrkov. Prej sem le redko posvečala veliko pozornosti pripravi zajtrka, pa je drugače to moj najljubši obrok v dnevu, če pa semi mela zjutraj opravke sem zajtrk navadno kar preskočila. Preizkušam različne recepte in jih izpopolnjujem. Potem pa tisti čas, ki mi ostane do kosila zapolnim z delom na računalniku ali pa s fotografiranjem, obdelavo fotografij, oziroma trenutno, z razmišljanjem o preoblikovanju spletne strani katero bi dopolnila s svojim delom ustvarjalca vsebin. Nikoli ni zares čisto dolgčas in nekako se mi zdi, da zadnje tedne dnevi minevajo še hitreje kot prej. Mogoče pa samo meni.
